Who we are

Matt Silverman and Dave Weinberg are the creative juice and energy behind Gently Media.

Matt has been producing online shows, viral media, and branded campaigns for more than 12 years. He has written for and directed top talent including John Oliver, Kevin Bacon, Kate McKinnon, Shaquille O’Neal, the Sesame Street Muppets, and more, and speaks regularly about the economics of creativity on the Internet. As an early editor at Mashable and later The Daily Dot, Matt is steeped in online culture, fandom, and the communities that attach themselves to “loyalty content” across Web platforms. His videos have been seen by tens of millions of people and covered by media around the world. He is the creator (and collaborator) of numerous successful web series and podcasts.

Dave has been creating media properties, building companies, diving into innovative projects, and rolling out technology products for more than twenty years. Dave brings his "relationships are everything", "quality is king", and “get sh*t done” mentality together with his passion for storytelling and podcasting.
